We are looking forward to our Fall 2023 Quilt Bus Trip and meeting all of you! For those of you who will be traveling in from out of town, we offer the following information to assist you in your planning.

· Two hotels that we often recommend to customers include:

  • Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, 5995 Rice Creek Parkway, Shoreview, MN 55126, 612.255.0562
  • Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, 155 Coon Rapids Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433, 507.262.1653
  • They are both ~2.5 miles from our shop (so a short Uber/Lyft ride) & they both offer free breakfast. But certainly you can do your own internet search for hotels also. Our shop address (where the bus will be loading Friday morning) is 8301 Sunset Rd NE, Spring Lake Park, MN 55432

· For those of you flying in, you will fly into Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). There are 2 terminals which are only ~1/2 mile apart. Most of the major airlines fly into Terminal 1, but Southwest & Frontier do fly into Terminal 2. For more information about specific airlines & the Terminals, please visit https://www.mspairport.com/airport/terminal-information. Your reservation will indicate which Terminal you will be arriving at.

· Also for those of you who will be flying in, you will likely want to take an Uber/Lyft/Super Shuttle from/to the airport vs. renting a car since the car will just be sitting in the parking lot during the bus trip. But you can certainly check prices for the best deal.

10:15 am         Leave for Sherburn, MN (1 hr)

11:15 am         Arrive at Old Alley Quilt Shop, 115 Main St, 507.479.2857 (Lunch)

 

12:45 pm         Leave for Fremont, NE (3.5 hrs)
